"So are they all, all honorable men—"

Guess who is Time's Person of the Year?

Most of the time when I read the news, I often feel like this:
"O judgment! Thou art fled to brutish beasts,
And men have lost their reason.
"
- from William Shakespeare's Julius Ceasar

Yeah, the only consolation we can take out of this is that the most influential person in the world gets the vote. It doesn't say good or bad influence. Gotta admit, Bush and entourage have rewritten much of the way the US does business at home and across the globe. For the better or worse only history can judge appropriately. -MG

Yeah, I noticed that it's based on how much a person has influenced the world.

What I really don't like is that we as a people (based on our political system) have suported his mostly damaging decisions and allowed his cabinet to change the world for the worse.

It is the underlying mental outlook of most of this country that I don't understand and am wary of. This much paranoia, unilateral decision making, and economic ignorance cannot be America, could it?
